Stress - strain analysis of jaw with tooth implant type BOI
Marcián, Petr ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
Submitted master thesis deals with stress - strain analysis of jaw, with dental implant. The implant serve as a suitable pillar for crown or dental bridge, when one or more teeth are lost. The project is oriented on BOI (basale - oseo - integrable) dental implant type, which is produced by DENTALIHDE company. Stress – strain condition of the mandible system with implant have been established by computational simulation, with use of the final elements method. Important part of down jowl is simulated on with EDS and EDDS applied types of implants. After implementation the implant begins to heal. Therefore the special attention is paid to stress - strain states on various level of osteointegration. There is a detail description of production of single part computational model and his solving in the master thesis. Presentation of large chapter with results and subsequent alteration stress - strain analysis is part of the master thesis. Program SolidWorks 2005 was used to create the geometric model. Computational model and the actual solving was accomplished with use of ANSYS 11.0 and ANSYS Wor-kbench systems.
Biomechanical Study of Tooth Implants for Low Density Bone
Marcián, Petr ; Janíček, Přemysl (referee) ; Horyl, Petr (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
This work deals with problem of dental implant area, where there are many problems at the dental implants application. The essential issue is the bone tissue quality at implant application, which sig-nificantly influences its deformation, tension and the possibility of subsequent implant failure. The knowledge of bone tissue mechanical properties of mandible and mandible with applied implant can significantly affect prediction of dental implant failure. The mechanical interaction can be described by variable determining deformation and tension of solved system. For this reason the computational modeling by using Finite Element Method was used for solving given problem. The computational model creation of solved system on the high resolution level is necessary for biomechanical assessment of implant failure, including bone tissue quality. For this purpose the biomechanical study was performed, which significantly spreads range of solved problem in this work afterwards. In this work the methodology, which describes assessment of bone tissue quality where the implant should be applied as well as mutual interaction, is presented. The results confirm necessity of bone tissue computational models creation on high resolution level including complex trabecular architecture. In this work the creation of trabecular structure computational model from data gained on micro-CT device is described. Further, the trabecular structure computational model was created on the 3D level with dental implant and the stress strain analysis was performed consequently. The last part of this work deals with introductory study of bone tissue modeling and remodeling.
Stress - strain analysis of jaw with tooth implant type MTI
Petrlíková, Helena ; Fuis, Vladimír (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma work is oriented on the deformation and load stress analysis of the jawbone with the razor-blade dental implant of the company MTI. There is a literature search on this theme in the beginning of this work. Deformation and tenseness of the system is done by computerized method FEM. There is detailed description of creating the computational model in this work. The geometry model of the system was created in the 3D CAD design software SolidWorks. Discretization, model of constrains and load sets including own solution was created in the ANSYS Workbench. On the basis of solutions with different load sets, which are presented in this work, is created a deformation and load stress analysis for two razorblade implant of copany MTI.

Selingerová, Simona ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
Research of Development of dental implants dissert about development, history and classification of dental implants. Simultaneously includes abstract of materials and their surface modification used in dental implatology and explanation of notions like osteointegration and biocompatibility. Description of dental implants with the view of biomechanics is adumbrate concisely.
Biocompatibility of Implantable MaterialsFocused on Titanium Dental Implants
Moztarzadeh, Amin ; Babuška, Václav (advisor) ; Hrušák, Daniel (referee) ; Chocholatý, Ondřej (referee)
This dissertation thesis deals with the evaluation of biocompatibility and osseointegration of nanostructured titanium materials used for dental implants. Bulk material topography and surface modification of titanium are currently of intense research mainly due to the significant impact on biocompatibility and improvement of osseointegration of dental implants. In the theoretical part are described types of titanium material and different methods of its surface modification. In vitro and in vivo biocompatibility and osseointegration tests are described as well. The experimental work consists of two parts of experiments. In the first experiment, we examined how grain size of nanostructured titanium material influences the behaviour of fibroblastic as well as osteoblastic cells growth on its surface. The experimentally obtained data were statistically analysed and discussed. Grain size was proven to be an important factor that influenced not only the strength of material but also its interactions with cells. The second experiment describes current methods used in the experimental evaluation of osseointegration of dental implants. The results of histological staining methods are illustrated and compared. A standardized and reproducible technique for stereological quantification of bone-implant contact...

Dental Hygiene impact on oral health guality of patients with dental implants
Pavlů, Jana ; Novotná, Jindra (advisor) ; Kulhavá, Miluše (referee)
Dental hygiene and oral health is a topic that is currently discussed.. Dental health reflects the overall health of humans and vice versa damaged teeth can significantly reduce health and quality of life. The results clearly confirm that the largest share of the poor quality of oral health is poor oral hygiene. That's why prevention is the most effective tool, provided that the patient is properly educated and motivated to take responsibility for the state of his teeth. From my experience at Dental emergency. We know, that the reality is different. Bachelor thesis is focused on demonstrating the positive impact of dental hygiene. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and physiology of teeth, briefly describes the most important oral diseases caused by malhygiene. It introduce a possible solution of tooth loss using dental implant and prosthetics. Empirical part is divided into two parts. The first one is focused to demonstrates the positive effect of dental hygiene of patients with established dental implants. This particular group of patients was chosen on purpose, because these patients are properly and repeatedly instructed to care intensely of their implants, because the lifetime of the implant after surgery depends on their care. In a random sample of fifteen patients with dental...
